Plumbea Records presents -I AM- of My Own Parasite.
The first work of the band is a variegated one, both in executive style and in compositional approach.
10 tracks for a 62 minute album split up in A side and B side to underline the difference between the two session groups (it should recall an idealistic vynil version that unluckily could not be released). The evident influences that can be found in the work start from gothically psychedelic reminescences like Joy Division or Pink Floyd, running through recently born American post-rock style (that's basically Shellac and Slint style).

The band has been working for 10 years now (previously known as Notturno Volgare). During this time, more than one cinematographic collaboration have been set, such as the composition of the music for some shorts directed by independent author Toni D'angelo (Abel Ferrara's assistant director). Two of these shorts met great success among critics and public, winning the Corto Circuito and Akab Film festivals. D'angelo has therefore shot a video with the band for the piece named "god-me" which can be found in the album.

Il primo lavoro del gruppo sostanzialmente si presenta molto variegato: sia negli stili esecutivi che negli approcci compositivi.
Sono 10 brani per 62 minuti complessivi suddivisi da un side A e un side B per meglio evidenziare la differenza fra i due gruppi di brani (vuole ricordare, purtroppo solo concettualmente, una stampa in vinile che non siamo riusciti a permetterci). Le influenze rintracciabili nel lavoro vanno dai ricordi dark-psichedelici del passato (Joy Division, Pink Floyd) fino alla recente scuola post-rock americana (Shellac, Slint).

La band, attiva ormai da dieci anni (il nome precedente era Notturno Volgare) ha lavorato ed è tuttora impegnata in ambito cinematografico avendo musicato quattro cortometraggi del regista indipendente Toni D'Angelo (aiuto regia di Abel Ferrara) due dei quali hanno riscosso molto successo di pubblico e critica vincendo i festival "Corto Circuito" di Napoli e l'"Akab film festival" di Roma. Toni ha realizzato per loro il video (presente nel cd) del brano "god-me"
