It took a long time to develop this album: since the end of the year 2002 until Spring of 2003. It was conceived, arranged and recorded all by the sole person of PROP - except Loss, by Carlo Marrone, Learning Without Wheels, Plurigonia and La Fine Dell'Anno, arranged in co-operation with Carlo Marrone (which is the author of the guitar solos in these tracks).
The work was completely recorded at home on PROP's PC (except the drums that were taken on a Tascam 4-track recorder). Obviously, the PC is not equipped with professional audioware of any sort, and that's the reason why sometimes some instruments must face loss of sound quality.
We therefore decided to distribute the work on CD-R support.
PROP started from precise references like Primus, Tool and Don Caballero, though experimenting and exploring new paths thanks to his very personal compositional and executive style applied to all the instruments he played for this album (not only drums, guitars and bass.. not only..).
As for now, we still do not know for sure when the second album will be released. Plumbea Records will give Prop all the means to achieve sound and print quality that the musician haven't had up until now. The label decided to promote -Aelle- anyway because it's a very good way to start the journey through the understanding of what PROP means.

L'album si è sviluppato lungo un arco di tempo che va dalla fine del 2002 alla primavera del 2003. I brani sono composti, eseguiti, arrangiati e registrati da PROP, tranne: "Loss", di Carlo Marrone, e "Learning without small wheels", "Plurigonia" e "La fine dell'anno", che sono state arrangiate da PROP e Carlo Marrone (autore, inoltre, dei solisti di chitarra delle elencate tracce).
Il lavoro è completamente cresciuto in casa, registrazioni delle batterie a parte (fatte con un tascam 4 piste su cassetta), tutte le tracce sono state registrate sul pc di casa che, ovviamente, non possiede una scheda audio professionale o affine. Si possono infatti riscontrare carenze di qualità sulla registrazione di alcuni strumenti (la batteria, ad esempio).
Il supporto usato quindi è il CD-R.
PROP parte da precisi riferimenti stilistici quali Primus, Tool e Don Caballero. Riesce tuttavia a elaborare uno stile compositivo ed esecutivo del tutto personale su tutti gli strumenti che suona (basso, batteria, chitarra e altro…).
L'uscita del prossimo disco di PROP è prevista per ottobre. La Plumbea Records gli fornirà strumenti necessari per ottenere un livello di registrazione e di stampa nettamente superiore rispetto a quello utilizzato finora da quest'ultimo. Si è voluto comunque promuovere -Aelle- perché a nostro giudizio è un lavoro che merita attenzione e che ben rappresenta le capacità e la personalità di PROP.
